Mainstream journalist adding two and two together, finally!
"Forget about the 2012 Mayan calendar, comet Elenin or the Rapture. The real threat to human civilization is far more mundane, and it's right in front of our noses. If Fukushima has taught us anything, it's that just one runaway meltdown of fissionable nuclear material can have wide-ranging and potentially devastating consequences for life on Earth.." Official NOAA video on upcoming CME impacts
The Sun has had 3 big eruptions called Coronal Mass Explosions this week and the particles it sent out are going to hit earth today friday 5th of august. None of these explosions alone would cause any disturbance but, as the guy in this video is telling us the three waves will come together just before they hit earth. Expect to feel the impact.

Solar storms to cause a Global Katarina like catastrophe
The information is out. Govenments have knowledge of the worst case scenarios, but information about the coming events will most likely not be available in the mainstream media, due to reasons that can be read in the summary of the meeting mentioned in the the earlier post.
If you don't want to read the full summary 5-6 pages then you can check out this page. Here they give you the short version that basically says that the public does not comprehend the magnitude of disastruous space weather events. That scientists cannot predict exactly in advance when it would occure but that this event if it hit now would be a CIVILIZATION CHANGING event!
DO YOU think our governments have the time to change how our nations power grids are built? Just imagine the process and time needed to get a new budget proposal through in your nations congress that would let this HUGE amount of money be available for the infrastructural rebuild.
They will not tell you just how bad it can be because they themselfs are hoping that these solar storms will just hit us alittle, just knocking out some satellites, some transformers, a few mobile networks, and that it will be possible to build it all back up and get back online again.
But then, the scientits are not so optimistic...
Seems that by not going all out on this subject, so that news stations and journalists could pick up on the story, people in command of monitoring the skies are almost giving the best possibilities for a global mass hysteria once the Sun really starts up.
I guess this lack of info has something to due with people not wanting to look bad.
What if the authority responsible for reporting about radiation in your country came out with a massive press release regarding the coming solar maximum, and told us to start preparing for the worst, but the the worst wasn't so bad? Would they look stupid or responsible?
Don't count on any info coming out, before its way too late.

The motivation for the seminar was this: "As we approach the next peak of solar activity expected in 2013, our nation faces multiplying uncertainties from increasing reliance on space weather-affected technologies for communication, navigation, security, and other activities, many of which underpin our national infrastructure and economy. We also face increasing exposure to space weather-driven human health risk as trans-polar flights and space activities, including space tourism, increase.."
